Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

As a Maintenance Technician at IMS Australia, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ operations by performing high-quality maintenance and repair tasks while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
Inspect and test machinery to ensure operational reliability.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot complex issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and provide on-site support as needed.

About You:

Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in maintenance roles within the mining or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence.
