Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and deliver key projects in the mining and industrial sectors. This role requires a highly organised individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

As a Project Manager at IMS Australia, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and lead the successful execution of maintenance, engineering, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Monitor project performance, generate reports, and provide updates to stakeholders.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with complex requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Understanding of Australian safety and regulatory standards.
• Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence.
